OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

Mobile Health for Lane County Employers

When workplace injuries happen, Cascade Mobile Health helps you reduce disruption by bringing medical care right to your door.

On-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our professionally trained medics provide non-emergency injury care, medical transportation, onsite drug and alcohol screening and more to keep your employees healthy. Plus, with a treat-and-release rate of about 40%, Mobile Health can significantly decrease recordable injuries and lower your workers’ compensation costs.

There When You Need Us, 24/7

Cascade Mobile Health is staffed by experienced emergency medical technicians and paramedics around the clock. Our onsite injury assessment, treatment and transport services are:

Cost-Effective

Mobile Health saves you money by keeping people on the jobs, decreasing recordable injury incidents and reducing workers’ compensation claims.

Fast

Our average arrival time is just 30 minutes within the Eugene and Springfield, Oregon area and your employee gets treatment quickly, before their condition can worsen.

Convenient

We come to you and many injuries can be treated on the spot, reducing your employee’s time away from work. If transport is needed, we prevent the need for a second employee to drive the injured employee.

How It Works

When you call our dispatch line after an employee is injured, our medics respond fast. When they get to your worksite, they will assess the injury and provide first aid treatment if appropriate.

Injuries that can be treated onsite include:

✅ Sprains

✅ Strains

✅ Minor cuts, scrapes and scratches

✅ Minor burns

✅ Eye injuries

✅ Bruises

If our medic can treat onsite, this will prevent a claim from being opened for that injury. We even offer free re-checks within 5 business days.

If the injury is more serious — such as a broken bone, deep cut or head injury — we will transport the employee to a physician’s office, urgent care or emergency room depending on severity. Once they have been treated, we provide return transportation.

Additional Onsite Services

In addition to first aid and transport services, Cascade Mobile Health offers onsite drug and alcohol screening and training programs to keep your workplace safe.

Drug and Alcohol Screening

Cascade Health’s medics are FMCSA certified to perform drug screen collections and breath alcohol tests at the worksite. If an employee tests positive on the job at the time of an accident, their workers’ compensation claim may be denied.

We also offer pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing for both D.O.T. and non-D.O.T. employees onsite.

Workplace Medical Training

We offer numerous onsite trainings to give your workforce the tools they need to keep each other safe on the job. You can choose any of the following trainings or we can work with you to create a custom line-up:

  • CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation)

  • First Aid (Mobile Health can also stock your first aid kits)

  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

  • Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Oxygen Administration for Rescuers
