Employee Assistance Program for Employees

What Is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

Your employer-paid EAP plan with Cascade Health gives you access to free, confidential support, resources and solutions to enhance your personal and professional wellbeing.

What Your EAP Can Do for You

Cascade Health’s EAP offers multiple benefits designed to give you the tools and support you need to achieve a higher level of satisfaction in your life. From resolving personal issues to working through conflict with a coworker; finding the motivation to achieve a new goal to gaining leadership skills; and from dealing with a traumatic workplace event to strengthening your family relationships, we can help.

Some of the services we offer to you and all members of your household include:

Counseling

Counseling is the foundation of EAP and can help you deal with personal and practical issues that may interfere with how well you feel, interact with loved ones, sleep, work and more. With Cascade Health EAP, you get access to free, confidential counseling services — no referrals, call center or pre-screening required. Our experienced, masters-level counselors and social workers will listen non-judgmentally and provide guidance, support and action plans to help you live your happiest, healthiest life. Telehealth appointments are available for your convenience and EAP employees get priority scheduling with access to appointments within two weeks or crisis care the same day. Read more on our counseling page.

Coaching

Coaching focuses on helping you get help and support to achieve a specific goal, like advancing your career to the next level, achieving work-life balance or reducing stress. Whatever your goals, the coaches at Cascade Health EAP can help you create and stick to a plan for success.

Training & Development

Cascade Health offers a variety of training and education resources for professional and personal development. These include monthly wellness seminars, a leadership training program and custom worksite trainings.

Substance Abuse Treatment

Whether you’ve been referred by your employer or are ready to reach out on your own, we will evaluate your situation and work with you to develop a treatment plan that will put you back in control.

Conflict Resolution

You spend nearly as much time with your coworkers as you do with your family, so it’s no surprise conflicts can arise at work. If you’re experiencing a difficult coworker relationship, we can work with you, your supervisor and your coworker to mediate conflict and create a custom resolution plan to promote a healthier workplace.

When to Consider Using Your EAP Benefits

Employee Assistance Benefits are recognized for helping people navigate difficult situations like critical incidents, complex personal issues and coworker conflicts. But EAP can also benefit you in more nuanced ways, like improving your supervisory skills or helping you develop a mindfulness practice.

There are so many situations in which your EAP benefits can help. We list just a few below, but whatever your needs, we highly encourage you to give us a call at (541) 345-2800.

✅ You are dealing with significant life events such as moving, marriage, becoming a parent or experiencing a loss.

✅ You experienced a trauma at home or at work and would like help processing it in healthy ways.

✅ You are feeling anxious, depressed or stressed.

✅ You are having a difficult time regulating your emotions, such as anger, resentment or sadness.

✅ You want to improve your relationships with loved ones or coworkers.

✅ You want to overcome obstacles like perfectionism or lack of motivation to reach your goals.

✅ You’d like to develop or improve your skills as a leader.

✅ You are struggling with substance abuse or other addictive behaviors.

✅ You have a personal or professional goal and don’t know how to start.

How to Explore and Use Your EAP Benefits

The easiest way to begin using your EAP benefits is to contact us at (541) 345-2800. Regardless of the reason you get in touch, your initial interaction with us will remain completely confidential — your employer will never even know you called.

We will begin by discussing the reasons you reached out, verify and explain your benefits and outline next steps. You may then decide if you would like to move forward. While some services — such as coworker dispute resolution — may require the participation of your employer, we will not disclose any part of our discussion with you without your consent.
